The education ministry published a revised syllabus of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations of 2021.
A circular by Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education’s Controller SM Amirul Islam on the matter was published on Monday.
It comes after Education Minister Dipu Moni said on Sunday that schools will hold regular classes for students of grades 10 and 12 when educational institutions reopen after a prolonged shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Meanwhile, students of other grades will be required to attend one class a week at their institutions.
The government on January 23 instructed secondary level educational institutions to prepare for reopening amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Educational institutions have been closed since March last year due to the pandemic. The government has extended the shutdown of schools a number of times until January 31.
