A preparatory meeting on celebration of 64th founding anniversary of Deodighi KM High School of Satkania Upazila in South Chattogram followed by Eid reunion function of the ex-students was held at school auditorium on August 23. President of the school managing committee and Chairman of Madarsha UP Chairman ANM Selim Chowdhury presided over it. Lawmaker of Satkania-Lohagara Constituency Prof.Dr.Abu Reza Md.Nizamuddin Nadvi MP graced the occasion as chief guest.
Among others, Advocate Amjad Hossain chowdhury, business personality Abu Sufian Kamal,political elite Mostafa Iqbal Chowdhuryy, Muridul Alam Chowdhury, Adv.Ershadur Rahman Ritu, Didarul Alam, IT ExpertMd.Nasiruddin, Engr.Hasan Ali, Md. Shahjahan, Md.Nizamuddin, Asstt. Registrar of CUET Fazlur Rahman, Journo Sankar Das and Abul Faiz spoke on the occasion.
The chief guest in his brief deliverations urges all irrespective of caste and creed to play vital role from respective ends to make success of the forthcoming Reunion function and founding anniversary programs. He said Reunion strengthens social ties and increases friendly relations each others.
The meeting unanimously decided for celebrating the 64th founding anniversary function followed by reunion on October 6 next.
End of the meeting, the Chief guest formally launched reunion introduction by planting 6 saplings as memoirs wihin the school premises, a school sources said.
