The reunion of 16th batch’s students of Jahangirnagar University (JU) was held on the campus on Friday amid much enthusiasm and fanfare. Marking the day, the former students of the university held a grand rally at Saptam Chaya Mancha on the campus. The daylong events included grand lunch, cultural function, giving honorary crests and different sports events. 16th batch’s student of JU also Member of the Parliament Abu Sayeed Al Mahmud Shwapan (Jaypurhat-2), Sr Sub Editor of Bangladesh Sagbad Sangstha (BSS) Shamima Yasmin, Professor of JU Geography and Environment Department Khondoker Shariful Huda and Professor of Philosophy Department Kamrul Ahsan were present on the occasion, among others.
