The second reunion of Dhaka University (DU) Botany department was held on the campus on Saturday amid festivity and fanfare manner.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the day-long programme as the chief guest at Curzon Hall auditorium on the campus.
The reunion, however, honoured the State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Ministry Meher Afroze Chumki.
Presided over by the President of DU Botany Alumni Association Professor Dr Kazi Abdul Fattah, Dean of DU Biological Sciences faculty Professor Dr Md Imdadul Hoque and Professor of Botany department Dr A Z M Nowsher Ali Khan addressed the function among others.
