14-day quarantine planned: Returnees from China in good condition

Eight hospitalised Bangladeshi returnees from the Coronavirus-hit Chinese city of Wuhan are in good condition, hospital sources said.
On Saturday, 312 Bangladeshis returned home from China. Eight of them were quarantined at different hospitals for having a fever and cold related illness.
Brigadier General Jamilur Reza, Director of Kurmitola General Hospital, said that seven of the returnees were admitted in this hospital and have been kept isolated.
One more was admitted to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), said Professor Meerjady Sabrina Flora, Director of the Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR). All eight would be in quarantine for 14 days, she told journalists.
Besides the eight, the remaining returnees have been kept on the second floor of Ashkona Hajj Camp where they also would be kept in quarantine for 14 days. The returnees include 18 children.
Bangladesh Army will supervise camp activities during the quarantine period.
