Dhaka Education Board blanked Naogaon District team by 7-0 goals in the day’s first match of the Agrani Bank 26th National Youth Hockey Competition at the Moulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium on Sunday.
Zahid of Dhaka Education Board scored four goals with a hat-trick and his teammate Jamshed netted two goals and their teammate Ashiqur scored one goal.
In the day’s second match, Chuadanga District team overpowered Feni District team by 6-0 goals at the same venue.
Baezid of Chuadanga District team hit a hat-trick and his teammate Akash netted two goals and their teammate Sabbir scored one goal.
In the day’s third match, Patuakhali District team beat Jessore District team by 2-1 goals at the same venue.
Rajib and Abir of Patuakhali District team scored one goal each.
Fahim of Jessore District team netted one goal.
In the day’s fourth match, Faridpur District team thrashed Khulna District team by 10-1 goals at the same venue.
Hasan, Sajal of Faridpur District team hit a hat-trick each and their teammate Alif scored two goals and their teammates Atafat, Chandra Roy successfully struck one time each on the board.
Al Islam of Khulna District team scored the consolation goal.
