Star Sports and Quantum Foundation registered wins in their respective matches of the Marcel LED Television First Division Handball League on Friday.
In the day’s first match, Star Sports edged past Jatrabari Sports Academy by 28-26 goals at the Shaheed (Captain) M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium.
The winners led the first half by 15-9 goals.
In the day’s second match, Quantum Foundation defeated Satirtha Club by 52-6 goals at the same venue.
The victorious team had a 25-4 goals lead in the first session.
Today Purbachal Parishad will face Jatrabari Sports Academy at 3.00 pm while Flame Boys Club will meet Satirtha Club at 4.15 pm at the same venue.
