Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon on Tuesday underscored the need for resistance of people from all strata of life to eliminate abuse of drugs from society.
“Teachers should play a crucial role to keep the new generation free from abuse of drugs,” he told a view-exchange with teachers on “Building resistance against drugs, terrorism and militancy” at Siddheswari University College in the city.
He said now the clutch of drugs is not limited to Dhaka city rather the menace has reached to rural high schools.
