Former city mayor and President of Chittagong city Awami league Mohiuddin Chowdhury said ward based resistance committee will be formed soon in association with the localities to face the violance and anarchy of the opposition parties.
He disclosed at a anti-hartal rally as arranged b y the city AL held at Darul Fazal market in city yesterday. He also thanked the law enforcers for their determination against the anarchism and violances of the opposition and vows the party’s support to the law enforcers during any crisis. City general Secretary AJM Nasirudin also spoke in it.
Among others, vice president of city AL Naimudin, Advocate Sunil Kanti, joint secretary MA Rashid, ward councilor Hasan Mahmood, Adv Iftikar saimul chowdhury, and other city AL leaders were present in it, sources said.
