The residential training camp of national footballers for the two-match play-off -1 of the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers against Tajikistan began on Wednesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).Bangladesh Football Federation on Tuesday preliminarily selected 34 booters to form the national team to play Tajikistan in their away match on June 2 and the home match on June 7 at Bangabandhu National Stadium.Most of the initially selected national booters reported to Team Manager Satyajit Das Rupu at the BFF Bhaban Wednesday noon and participated in the training session at BNS in the afternoon.The remaining national players of Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, now aboard for their international engagements, will join the training camp soon after their arrival. Preliminarily selected players are:-Goalkeepers: Rasel Mahmud Liton, Shahidul Alam Sohel, Mazharul Islam Himel and Ashraful Islam Rana.Defenders: Rayhan Hasan, Nasiruddin Chowdhury, Topu Barman, Nasirul Islam Nasir, Atiqur Rahman Meshu, Yemin Ahmed Chowdhury Munna, Mamun Miah, Sakil Ahmed, Mohammad Linkon, Ariful Islam, Kasto Kumar Bosh, Rezaul Karim, Khekururjaman Shobuj, Faisal Mahmud and Waly Faisal.Midfielders: Monaem Khan Raju, Shahedul Alam Shahed Sr, Shahidul Alam Shahed, Misuk Miah Zoni, Koushik Barua and Emon Mahmud.
