In the latest reshuffle in the police administration, four senior police officers have been transferred and given new postings. The Home Ministry issued a circular in this regard on Monday.
According to the notification, DIG of Police Bureau of Investigation (PBI) Md Shahab Uddin Quraishi has been made Additional Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police while DMP Additional Commissioner Barrister Mahbubur Rahman replaced Quraishi.
Additional DIG of Dhaka Range Khandker Golam Faruque and Additional DIG of Khulna Range Md Didar Ahmed have been transferred as Additional Commissioners (Current Charge) of DMP.
