The Govt has taken initiatives to reshuffle top police management to face the next opposition’s political movement.
As a part of the initiatives, DIG Chittagong Range Police Nowsher Ali and the Chittagong Police Commissioer Md.Shafiqul Islam have been transferred in the meantime.
Besides, transfers of police officials from the rank of Officer Incharge to DIG now under process in the headquarters within the month , a reliable sources said.
It is learnt from a sources that after last parliamentary election, govt has taken this initiatives of reshuffling the police administration.
A list of the transfers of the senior police officials already prepared in the headquarters, sources said.
As a part of this initiatives for transferring police officials, CMP commissioner Md. Shafiqul Islam and the DIG Chittagong Range Nowsher Ali have been transferred to Chittagong Range as DIG and the DIG Telecommunication Range respectively.
Police commissioner of Khulna Metropolitan Police Md. Shafiqur Rahman is expected to join as Commissioner of CMP soon, sources said.
