Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sarafuzzaman Ansari fixed the new date for the submission of the report as police failed to submit the report on Thursday. Earlier, the court issued arrest warrant against journalist Shafik Rehman and four others after accepting the charge sheet of the case on March 6.
Four other accused in the charge sheet are: Mahmudur Rahman, acting editor of Bangla daily Amar Desh, Mohammad Ullah Mamun, vice-president of Jatiyatabadi Samajik Sangskritik Sangstha (Jasas), and his son Rizvi Ahmed Caesar, and Mizanur Rahman Bhuiyan, an expat businessman living in the United States.
