Chandpur’s renowned educationist and social worker AT Ahmed Hossain Rusdie ‘s remarkable contribution in the field of education was recalled with due respect in a memorial meeting held at the auditorium of Jilani Chisty College in Shahtoli under Chandpur Sadar.
The College authority organized this meeting, marking his 47th anniversary of death . On this day in 1975 he passed away in Holy Family Hospital.
College Governing Body’s Chairman , ex- General Secretary Chandpur Press Club and Editor of Daily Chandpur Khabar Adv Sohel Rushdie presided over the meeting while the District Education Officer (Acting) Pran Krishna Devnath was the chief guest on the occasion.
College Principal Md Harunor Rashid , Shahtoli Kamil Madrasa Principal Maulana Md Billal Hossain, Jilani Chisty High School Headmaster Md Mohsinuddin, Jobaida Girls’ High School Headmaster Nayan Chandra Das, Jobaida Govt Primary School’s Assistant Teacher Didar Hossain Miji, among others spoke highlighting the eventful life of this renowned academician.
