Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Saturday inaugurated lab-1 of Department of Psychology after completion of renovation and modernization work.
The work was carried out by the assistance from life members of DU Psychology Alumni Association.
Presided over by department chairperson Prof Dr Nasrin Wadud, the inauguration function was attended by Prof Dr Md Emdadul Haque, Dr Hamida Akter Begum, AK Azad, among others.
In his speech at the function, Dr Siddique emphasized on pleasant environment at the classrooms and laboratories, saying, “The teachers and students of the Department of Psychology will now be able to carry out their educational and research activities more freely.”
He thanked the life members of department’s alumni association to provide the assistance in renovating the lab.
