As a result of the terrible fire in Churihatta, the government to remove various chemical factories in old Dhaka. Even then, some factory owners continued their daily activities. That is why different teams of police and RAB later raided and fined the factory owners.
Due to non-operation of RAB and police for sometime, some factories have been relocated to this old Dhaka and the lives of the common people have been threatened. A few days ago, a fire broke out in a chemical factory in Kamrangir Char. The matter did not spread much as the fire service was able to put out the fire with hydrogen before the people arrived. Therefore, it is a humble request to the factory owners to relocate these factories.
