Dhaka University VC Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique urged the students to come forward with the light of education to remove darkness from the society.
He was addressing the orientation program of the first year Honors students of various departments under the Faculty of Social Sciences of Dhaka University (DU) held yesterday at the TSC auditorium of the university.
Students’ Counseling and Guidance Office of DU organised the programme. Acting Director of Students’ Counseling and Guidance Office of DU Mahjabeen Haque presided over the function while Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences Prof Farid Uddin Ahmed addressed it as special guest. Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique called upon the students to equip themselves with the spirit of our Liberation War as well as non-communal and humanitarian values to lead Bangladesh in the days to come.
