After six months of operation as a multi-cuisine restaurant, SHAKIB’S ALL ROUNDER DINING, at plot number 48, Block F, Road number 11, Banani, Dhaka 1213, went into grand opening on the 8th of July last. Launched by the world’s number one all rounder cricketer, Shakib Al Hasan, the 160-seat (80 seats in each floor) multi-cuisine restaurant offers two types of food items in two floors. On the second floor of the multi-storied building, the 80-seat part offers fast food items and on the third floor, the other 80-seat part offers Continental, Indian and Thai cuisine food items on ala-carte menu basis of buffet system as per desire of the diners.
The restaurant is open for twelve hours between 11 AM and 11 PM. “Normally fast food items can be enjoyed for Taka 400 plus per person and for ala-carte menu dining on the third floor part, Taka 600 plus is required per person,” said Restaurant Manager, K.M. Ali Hossain Raju, while talking to this correspondent in the evening on October 16 (Friday) last. Asked if there is buffet system of dining, he said, “Yes, whenever customers want we arrange buffet system of dining too.”
