The government has decided to relax the ongoing strict lockdown across the country from July 15 (Thursday) to July 22. However, strict restrictions will be imposed again from July 23.
A notification in this regard will be issued by the Cabinet Division from Tuesday, said a government handout on Monday.
It said the restrictions imposed by the government on various issues to curb the spread of the coronavirus pandemic would be
relaxed from July 15 to July 22. A notification in this regard will be issued on Tuesday.
According to the handout, strict restrictions will be imposed again from July 23.
Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal told reporters on Monday afternoon that the government would take a decision on the ongoing strict lockdown, taking into account the demands of cattle traders and shop owners ahead of Eid-ul-Azha.
Shortly afterwards, the Ministry of Railways announced that rail communication would be resumed across the country from next Thursday.
