Rehabilitation of beggars and alternative employment programmes have been launched at Katiadi and Pakundia upazila of Kishoreganj -2 constituency with the aim of building a bagger – free Bangladesh as per the desire of the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
On the occasion, a function was held at Katiadi upazila auditorium organized by Social Service Department on Saturday noon.
Retired IGP and Senior Secretary Noor Mohammed MP was attended as chief guest while Katiadi UNO Mossamohamad Akhterunnessa presided over .
Noor Mohammed MP said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants to see a beggar – free Bangladesh. We want to make Katiadi-Pakundia as a beggar-free upazilas.
