A daylong workshop of the construction supervisors, rod mistry and masons was held at Airbell Development Technologies Ltd’s project at Katalgong in city on December 17 arranged by the REHAB, chittagong unit.
The workers of the REHAB member companies participated the workshop. Convenor of the workshop Md. Kamaluddin presided over the workshop.
REHAB director and co-chairman of Chittagong regional committee Md. Omar Faruk inaugurated the workshop. Cochairman of REHAB Engr. Didarul Hoque Chowdhury delivered address of welcome in it. Director of Housing and Building Research Institute Md. Abu Sadek conducted training program in the workshop.
He also discussed elaborately about the earthquake resistance building construction among the participants.
After end of workshop, certificates were distributed among the participants, sources said.
