A two-day ‘Regional Banking Conference-2018’ begins here today at the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) in the city.
The BIBM Governing Body Chairman and Bangladesh Bank (BB) Governor Fazle Kabir will attend inaugural session of the conference as the chief guest, said a BIBM media release.
BIBM is organising the event in association with Indian National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Bhutanese Financial Institutions Training Institute (FITI) and Nepalese National Banking Institute (NBI).
Three business sessions will be held during the conference and 10 articles will be presented, while a total of 600 people from home and abroad including experts, bankers, researchers and students will attend the sessions.
BIBM is organising the regional conference for the first time aimed at bringing together experts, academicians and researchers from all over the world to exchange and share knowledge, experience and research on banking and related issues.
