Regent-JKG scams stigmatise Bangladesh

The Regent Hospital and JKG Health Care stigmatized Bangladesh beyond the borders by issuing fake covid-19 certificates to the patients said the speakers.
They said it at a human chain programme organised by ‘Safe Food and Consumer Rights Movement (SFCRM)’ Bangladesh on Monday in front of Jatiya Press Club.
Exemplary punishment to the fraudsters who tarnished image of the country was demanded by the speakers.
The speakers have further called for retesting the sufferers’ samples again with payment of compensation.
Secretary General of Bangladesher Biplobi Workers Party (Revolutionary Workers’ Party of Bangladesh) Saiful Haque said, the people of Bangladesh have right to know who sheltered Shahed and Subrina working desperately for illegal money, no matter who suffers.
Saiful Haque urged immediate arrest and punishment to them and said their dirty activities disgraced Bangladesh image in the world which will have adverse impact on our migrant workers.
The programme was presided by SFCRM’s Chief Executive Kamruzzaman Bablu and moderated by organization secretary Asaduzzaman Azam.
National Awami Party (NAP) Secretary General Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan, SFCRM’s Vice-President Md Shahidul Islam, Treasurer Noman Mosharef, Programme Co-coordinator Samsul Arefin, Publicity Secretary Mahmudur Rahman Khan Bappi, Office Secretary Abdul Aziz, Social Welfare secretary Imam Hasan and others were present in the programmee.
