Regent Airways, the renowned airline of Bangladesh will provide facilities for carrying reliefs for Rohingya refugees in Cox’s Bazar, says a press release.
Primarily, Regent will give the assistance to carry the reliefs from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar. Regent has taken step to provide facilities for carrying reliefs for Rohingya refugees by the regular flight of Boeing 737.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Regent Airways Lieutenant General (Retd) M Fazle Akber NDC, PSC, PhD declared the announcement at the relief distribution function of the company. He said, “we want to be side of the helpless Rohingya people who fled from their motherland to save their lives to Bangladesh. So, we have taken step to give the assistance to carry the reliefs from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar.”
He further said, “the Non government Organizations, Volunteer Organizations, any enterprises or person can take the facility of Regent to carry the reliefs from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar.”
 “Besides, Regent is ready to carry the reliefs of Government Organizations or Donor organizations,” CEO of Regent Airways Lieutenant General (Retd) M Fazle Akber added.
In a press release of Regent Airways says, Regent has been distributing reliefs in association with the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) among the tortured Rohingya people staying there since last four days at Ukhia and Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar. Regent has distributed 8 MT food and taka five lac in cash among the helpless Rohingyas there. The officials and staffs of Regent also contributed in the relief activities.
