Regent Air to expand routes in Middle East next year

Ashud Ahmed, the High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Qatar was present as chief guest while senior journalists and elites were also present at the function. Regent Airways, the renowned airline of Bangladesh will expand its routes in all countries of Middle East within next one year. Besides, the Regent Airways will include three more Buoying aircraft in its fleets. The authorities of the Regent Airways disclosed this at a function arranged for inauguration of new routes of Regent Dhaka-Doha Dhaka at Hotel Mariet at Doha in Qatar recently.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Regent Airways M Fazle Akber said, after Oman and Qatar, the Regent Airways will fly to Dammam of Saudi Arabia in next month. “Besides, we are working to start routes to Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Jeddah and Bahrain. The procedure to start the new routes is progressing. We have already got approval for the new routes.” He hoped that Regent Airways would be the symbol of the trust of Bangladeshi people in Middle East for low cost, high service and comfortable journey. Addressing the function High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Qatar Ashud Ahamed said, “Bangladesh and Qatar government are working for the development of the brotherhood relationship among the people of two countries.
 The step for development of relationship is not for only the economical development, but also the development of exchange of culture and friendship. “I believe that the introducing of new flights of the Regent Airways on Dhaka-Doha Dhaka route will play an important role in this regard.”
Ashud Ahamed also hoped that the new route of Regent Airways Dhaka-Doha Dhaka will also play an important role for expanding the labor market for Bangladeshi workers in Qatar for upcoming World Cup of 2022.
 Among others, the Chief Commercial Officer of Regent Airways Akter U Ahmed, Head of Marketing Anisul Alam Chowdhury, Head of Airport Operation Rahul Bhatcoti, the sponsor of the General Sales Agent of Regent Airways in Qatar Mohammed Al Hashemi and Resident Head Rehan Ali Syed were also present at the function.
 It may be mentioned that the new flight of Regent Dhaka-Doha Dhaka was starts flying regularly from May 19 last. Primarily, four flights are flying to new route Doha of Qatar from Bangladesh in a week. The new flight of Regent Dhaka-Doha Dhaka are flying from Dhaka every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 10.45 pm and reaching at Doha at 1.45 am every week. On the other hand, the the new flight are starting from Doha at 2.45 am and reach at Dhaka at 10.30 am.
 It may be mentioned that Regent Airways began its journey on November 2010 and started international flights by introducing the Kualalampur flight on July 15 in 2013. Presently, the Regent Airways is operating five more international flights from Dhaka to Mascot, Kualalampur, Singapore, Bangkok, Kolkata and Chittagong to Bangkok and Kolkata. Besides, the Regent Airways is also operating domestic flights at Dhaka, Chittagong and Cox’s Bazar routes now.
Besides, Regent Airways is operating Dubai Sylhet Dubai flight with Fly Dubai by Code Share system now. Presently, Regent Airways is operating 4 Buoying and 2 Dash flights.
