Deputy Minister for Education Mahibul Hasan Chowdhury, MP said the Prime Minister was emphasizing on renewable energy to take the energy sector forward. Her diplomatic position in the international arena on the issue of climate change and renewable energy is commendable. We have limited natural resources. Nevertheless, with limited resources, production and development activities need to reduce the amount of environmental pollution and carbon emissions. Water and air pollution must be prevented. In the case of sustainable development, the damage to the environment should be minimized as much as possible.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the 6th International Conference on Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy, the 6th three-day Mechanical Engineering and Renewable Energy, organized by CUET’s Mechanical Engineering Department on Sunday.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Rafiqul Alam was a special guest at the conference. Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Conference Chair Professor Sajal Chandra Banik spoke as the presidency of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Professor. Kazi Afzalur Rahman. Professor of Mechanical Engineering spoke Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Bhuiyan.
