bdnews24.com :Dhaka deputy commissioner’s office has apparently lost the file that contained records of the licence issued to MP Pinu Khan’s son Bakhtiar Alam Rony for the gun, from which he is believed to have fire, killing two people. An official in charge of such records, after failing to locate the file after his search, told bdnews24.com that Dhaka Metropolitan Police had also asked for that file and he was not sure whether they had taken it. However, the investigating officer in the double murder case, Detective Branch’s Assistant Commissioner Hasan Arafat told bdnews24.com they had asked for the file.It was to verify whether there were any irregularities in issuing the permit but were yet to get any response from the deputy commissioner’s office. When inquired about the file, Tofazzal Hossain, the deputy commissioner, had referred bdnews24.com correspondent to Shamsul Alam, the chief of the concerned wing. After looking for the file for nearly an hour, Alam requested the correspondent to get in touch with Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Sarah Sadia Tajnin. After she also failed to locate the file, the correspondent was asked to contact Shamsul Alam again.
