A reception was accorded to Selina Jahan Lita, an MP in the women reserved seat for 10th National Perliament after taking oath at Govt. Model Primary School in Ranisonkail on Tuesday.
Earlier, people with thousands of motorbiks received her from Pirgonj. Later, a function was held there with Awami Leage leader Imran Ali in the chair. On the occation Upazila Chairman Saidul Haq, AL leader Haziruddin, Abbas Ali, Tajuddin among others Mohila League Secretary Farida Yeasmin, Chhatra League leader Menon, Jubo League leader Shanewas, Alamgir Sarker, Press Club President Prof. Anwarul Islam, AL leader Mohadev Basak, Jahangir Alam, Abdul Kader, Md. Toaha, Headmaster Bijoy Kumar and Ashraful Alam, Principal Azharul Islam, AL leader Mukar Alam, Nittaynada Basak, Anil Basak and Isahak Ali and others. Lecturer Prasant Basak conducted the function.
