A reception programme for the students who attained GPA-5 in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Dhakil Examinations in 2014 was held at Dawlatkhan Upazila Auditorium in Bhola recently.
Dawlatkhan Chhatra Kalyan Foundation (DCKF), a regional social welfare organisation, organised the reception programme.
Forty-eight students were awarded crest and books for their excellent results this year.
SM Faraque, President of Dawlatkhan Press Club, presided over the function while Deputy Commissioner of Bhola Md Salim Reza was present as the chief guest.
Md Jasim Uddin, teacher of Sukh Deb Madanmahan High School, moderated the programme while Dawlatkhan Upazila Chairman Monjur Alam Khan, Dawlatkhan Upazila Nirbahi Office (UNO) Md Mustafizur Rahman, Dawlatkhan Municipality Mayor Jakir Talukder, Dawlatkhan Mahila College Principal Jabir Hasnain Jakir, M M Jasim, President of Dhaka University Journalists’ Association and founder Chairman of DCKF and Assistant Secretary of BCL Md Shariful Islam were present as special guests.
