A reception programme for the students who attained GPA-5 in Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Dhakil Examinations in 2014 was held at Burhanuddin Upazila Auditorium in Bhola recently.
Burhanuddin Chhatra Kalyan Foundation (BCKF), a regional social welfare organisation, organised the reception programme. Forty-three students were awarded crest and books for their excellent results this year.
M M Jasim, President of Dhaka University Journalists’ Association and founding Chairman of BCKF presided over the function while Police Superintendent of Bhola Md Moniruzzaman was present as the chief guest.
Burhnauddin Upazila Nirbahi Office (UNO) Md Mostafizur Rahman, Principal of Abdul Jabbar Mahabiddyaloy Abul Quasem, Principal of Burhanuddin Mohila College Md Harun-or-Rashid, General Secretary of Secondary School Teachers’ Association of Burhanuddin Bashir Ahmed, Burhanuddin Reporters’ Unity President Mobasshir Hasan Shipon and General Secretary Md Monir Uddin and BCL Burhanuddin Upazial General Secretary Mohibul Alam Khokon were present as the special guests while Md Nazrul Islam moderated it.
