A preparatory meeting of Satkania Samity in Chittagong held in Golden Touch office in Agrabad recently aimed at giving reception to the member of parliaments, elite of the society and talented students of session-14 .
The reception function will be arranged very shortly , sources said. founder president of Satkania Samity and noted industrialist Alhaj Abul Bashar Abu presided over it and the General Secretary Alhaj Jasimuddin conducted the meeting.
Among others Joint Secretary Alhaj Amanul Alam, Advisor of the Samity Ln Osman Gani Chowdhury, Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury, Vice President Abdul Mabud Chowdhury, Vice President Rafiqul Alam, Chairman Sarwaruddin Chowdhury, Banker Nurul Islam, advisor Samsul Alam, Joint secretary Kazi Yousuf Ali Chowdhury, Kazi Sharekullah, Advocate Farid uddin, journalist Mahbul Hasan, Kazi Giasuddin, Amanullah Md.Jahangir, Bashiruddin Ahmed, Prof. Sabbir Ahmed, Abu Sayeed, Shahdat Hossain Chowdhury, former councilor Abu Taher, Prof. Ayub, Sahabuddin Rashed, Sheikh Salauddin, Jainab Akhter Jorna, Jannatul Naim Chowdhury, Fatema Akhter Munni, Rana spoke on the occasion.
The president of the meet Abul Bashar Abu urged upon the residents of Satkania Upazila to extend their cooperation to make the reception function lively and to turn the function as a reunion function of the Satkania in the city.
ID cards, life-member certificates will be distributed among the members of the Samity, the meeting decided. In the meeting, 8 sub-committee have been formed to make success of the reception function. All successful students passed with golden GPA-5 or its equivalent in JSC, SSC and HSC exams in 2014 have been requested the convenor of the reception committee Shatdat Hossain Chowdhury and the Member Secretary Sk.
