Mentally Challenged Street People

Nearly all parts of the country, including the capital, innumerable unfortunate rootless people are living an insecure life under the open sky. Many of them are mentally unbalanced. They endanger their own lives and cause annoyance and misery to the common people. Often they stand in the middle of a busy road, which increases the risk of road accidents. Moreover, many of them walk around naked, creating embarrassing situations for pedestrians and children.
Moreover, mentally unbalanced people are often subjected to cruel treatment by inhumane people. In many cases, women are sexually harassed and give birth to fatherless children in an unexpected environment.
However, there is no substitute for rehabilitating the mentally disturbed to prevent various unpleasant events and unforeseen circumstances.

Recognition Of Genocide In 1971

block

Bangladesh is celebrating the golden jubilee of independence. There was a lot of bloodshed in 1971 to free the country from the hands of the Pakistani oppressors. The Pakistani army carried out unprecedented destruction and genocide in Bangladesh for nine months of 1971. This massacre was carried out to suppress the aspirations of the Bengalis for independence forever.
According to the United Nations Convention on Genocide, 1948, “Genocide is the criminal act that is committed to completely or partially wipe out any race, ethnic group or religious community. Bangladesh is in favour of the UN Convention recognizing the genocide of 1971. All that is needed now is an effective and efficient diplomatic initiative.
The Armenian genocide has been recognized almost 100 years after the efforts of Armenian people, government, expatriates and diplomats. So, the Bangladesh government, its people, expatriates and diplomats have to work together to gain this recognition.
