PTI Experimental Schools: Put an end to recruitment complications

Although three and a half years have passed since the publication of the notification, no progress has been seen in the appointment of PTI Experimental Schools. Now the educational program of the pilot school is being conducted by the primary school teachers. As a result, due to the lack of teachers, the educational program of the PTI Experimental Schools is being disrupted at the field level. Experimental Schools attached to PTI is mainly known as an ideal institution of primary education. But if these schools do not have their own teachers, then the standard of primary education will continue to decline across the country.
Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) through a circular on 17th April 2019 invited applications for 329 posts for PTI Experimental Schools across the country. The preliminary and written examination is conducted in its continuation. After 2 years of the preliminary exam, the written exam is still not published. As a result, those who participated in the written exam and are expecting the results have lost their patience. Our only demand is that the results of the Experimental Schools should be published soon.

Protect Dhaka from air pollution

Dhaka is among the top five cities in the world with the worst air pollution. For the last few weeks, we have got many news reports on how unhealthy Dhaka’s air is. We got a little respite the last two years due to the Covid-19 lockdowns. But now that things are getting back to normal, the air pollution is, too. What exactly is stopping the authorities from addressing this issue?
We have been making headlines for air pollution for months! I don’t want to die of lung disease because of toxic air. So authority concerned must do something to save us from polluted air.
