Education for all
A person without education is like a bird without wings, a person without education is not blind, but his eyes do not have vision and light. That is why it is said that education is the third eye that gives a person the energy to distinguish between wrong and right.
But alas! This view has been ignored and no one seems interested. Getting an education has become a compulsion instead of reading with passion, people study compulsively. The reason for all this is that in our society, teachers do not get the respect they deserve.
Moreover, in our society, even if a father is liberal, he cannot educate his girls beyond matriculation. Education is undoubtedly one of the basic rights of all in any country and every religion but still in most places poor and innocent women are not allowed to get an education, especially in rural areas. But why? Aren’t women humans?
This is the time to realize that women are no less than men, they are free spirits and free radicals as well as human beings. We should not violate anyone’s rights. We should give priority to education and women should also be educated.

Communal attack must end
Last parliamentary elections are marked with waves of violence, particularly against minority communities. Some villagers especially in Norail district were attacked and forced to flee home. The political blame game continues centering the issue. The major opposition party demanded neutral investigation and exemplary punishment for those who were involved in the heinous crime.
Blame game to clear hands by political parties has been encouraged as communal crimes have not always been properly investigated in the past. People demand such impunity must end. People irrespective of their religion deserve protection by the law and the state is obliged to provide that.
We must make sure that crimes are thoroughly investigated and criminals are punished to the fullest extent of the law. It also has to be ensured that victims and their families should also be adequately compensated. Law enforcement authorities have a solemn duty to ensure that all people can live without any fear of being attacked.
