Bridge Collapse
Recently, three people were killed when a truck carrying a tree fell into a canal after a bridge collapsed on the Rangamati-Khagrachhari road in Kutukchhari area. This is because the weight of two trucks loaded with tree trunks will be about 50 tons where more than 5 tons cannot be transported through this bridge.
The design and construction style of a bridge depends on its requirements, the natural location of the construction site, the building materials used and the amount of money allocated. When a bridge is built, it is determined how much weight it will be able to withstand, how fast vehicles will run, how many years it will last.
Therefore, I request all the drivers to do their duty properly with proper idea about the road route to avoid all public accidents. I am requesting the authorities to give all the information and signs about the bridge with the bridge to give people an idea about the bridge.
