North Bengal is neglected

North Bengal is the most poverty prone region in the country. Five out of 10 such districts are in Rangpur division. Apart from Kurigram, the list includes Rangpur, Dinajpur, Gaibandha and Lalmonirhat. Kurigram district has the highest number of poor people. The poverty rate in this district is 70.8 percent. Somewhere in the district it has exceeded 77 decimal places. But nowhere is it below 64 percent. About 80 out of 100 people here are poor.
The poverty rate is about 64 percent in Dinajpur, 46 percent in Gaibandha, 43 percent in Rangpur and 42 percent in Lalmonirhat. Most people depend on agriculture for their livelihood. A large part of agricultural production comes from the Rangpur region. From golden fiber jute to paddy, tobacco and almond production, its value is everywhere. But those greedy people never get what they deserve. During the Mughal period, the emperors used to collect a huge amount of rent from the north every year. Thousands of people were stranded in many villages due to three times more rainfall than normal. The issue of flood damage is also old for the people of Rangpur division. Some lose land, some lose houses, cattle. Last year too, economic growth exceeded 7 percent. Just as it has stunned the world, so does the only neglected Bengal: the conscious society of the country. There is no such thing as a major industry. Many of the few that exist are closed. There is an urgent need for specific plans and allocations to ensure far-reaching social security for North Bengal. We need to create job opportunities, motivate industries and entrepreneurs.

Inspire entrepreneurship

Entrepreneurs are national assets who can transform the way we live and work. Entrepreneurial attempts have had a large-scale impact on economic positions, business environment, and job engendering in different countries.
Entrepreneurs create a meaningful contribution to the country’s GDP and are frequently assigned as a national asset. With modernization and the continually expanding pace of life, entrepreneurial ventures with encouraging potential are now sponsored by government organizations and even by other established entrepreneurs.
