Rapists must be Punished

Rape has been spreading like a contagious disease in the country lately. It is also now a matter of horror to the tender-hearted children, handicapped, students, laborers, housewives and many more. Women in our society often choose to commit suicide after being raped or sexual harassment and those who survive can’t be able to live without trauma. Due to rape, she and also her family have to carry a social stigma of negligence, though they are not responsible for the crime.
However, we see that if the rapist is a member of the ruling party, he tries to obstruct the trial by getting bail. And he has been successful many times.
Now is the right time for us to stand up against the rapist. Whoever the rapist is, let him be brought under punishment. Moreover, the problems that exist in proving the punishment for rape need to be overcome.
However, if the government wants, it can solve this problem by taking a special court for speedy trial of the rapist. Besides, punishment for rape is low in Bangladesh. So demand for the death penalty as a punishment for rape should be implemented.

Abuse of Social Media

The number of Facebook, YouTube and Twitter users is increasing at an alarming rate these days. Whatever wishes, whoever writes his opinion in an instant whether it has an anti-religious, anti-humanitarian, or negative impact on the social context is out of the question. The ghost of cheap popularity has haunted most of the users. However, in this case, the young society is ahead. They don’t stop commenting like that, they are also trying to gain popularity with various video contents.
There is nothing like learning or positive impact on society in these promoted videos, but they are obsessed with various obscenities. The video is being released at the moment by holding various body postures through communication. These poor young people are walking towards darkness day by day.
So, family should explain to the child from the beginning about the positive and negative aspects of using social media. The main responsibility of the child is to restrain his own family in these matters.
