Congratulations Bangladesh
I am feeling very glad learning that Bangladesh is doing excellent job combating covid-19 pandemic. It has been placed in the list of twenty countries which are doing well and in the South Asia region it has secured the first place. I hope the trend will continue and one day Bangladesh will win the battle against the deadly disease. I pray for the people of the whole world, may The Creator save the mankind from this horrible situation and life becomes normal again, happiness will replace anxiety and fear.

Ensure Proper Use Of Land
Bangladesh is now a food self-sufficient country. But we also need to keep in mind that we live in a very disaster prone area and our population growth rate is very high. So it is important to ensure full and proper use of as much land as we have for food security. We can meet our food and financial needs by cultivating various fruits and vegetables without leaving the land around our homes unused. Planting flowers or vegetables in front of the house will add extra nutrients to the daily food list and will also bring peace of mind. It is difficult to get such vacant land in urban areas. In this case, the roof of the house can be used for growing fruits or vegetables. Nowadays, planting different plants on the roofs of houses in the city is becoming quite popular. Methods of rooftop fish farming have already been discovered. This method of fish farming in small drums is called aquaponics. In our country, agricultural land is always occupied by houses, factories, Bricks etc. are built. In the developed world, there is no precedent of constructing facilities by occupying agricultural land in this way. Therefore, it is important to immediately implement the “Agricultural Land Protection and Land Zoning Act 2010” and the “National Land Use Policy 2010”. Today we dream of becoming a middle income country. But it will be very difficult for us to fulfill that dream by leaving a large part of the land unused or misusing the land. So we all need to be aware from now on and ensure proper use of land.
