Privacy violation
concern of e-commerce users in Bangladesh

I am writing to you, raising a valid concern regarding the privacy violation of e-commerce users in Bangladesh. E-commerce has slowly evolved into a crucial lifestyle companion for Bangladesh’s population in the last decade. With an unprecedented growth rate of 100 percent in 2016-2019, it is time to bring out the elephant in the room- the customers’ privacy concern by using e-commerce platforms (Khan, 2021). Even though e-commerce users get customized recommendations regarding products or services, this process is a significant regulatory global data business concern and leakage. It is time to establish a concrete data exchange guideline as a benchmark to stop this subconscious mind. Third-party vendors associated with e-commerce platforms such as payment processing and checkout can also be a significant blind spot for violation of privacy. Voice searches are also quite popular because of the evolution of multiple smart-voice assistants. Customer data can also be stored in the cloud server outside of its e-commerce server. Nonetheless, e-commerce platforms and associates have already blended with our lifestyle in 2021. Only lawmakers and regulatory bodies can come up with intelligent ideas to integrate peoples’ opinions to preserve their rights by mitigating the darker sides of privacy violation
