Protect The Environment
Where existence of all animals, including humans, depends on nature, man is destroying it almost delibarately. It is necessary to stop the arbitrary felling of trees and take colossal measures to create an eco-friendly environment. It is important to create a nature-friendly production system by increasing the use of organic fertilizer. It is possible if we are just aware of our vary existence on the earth. We must not forget that only the mother earth is still the sole agent of life in the universe so far we know.

There is no doubt that the people of Bangladesh are fond of sports, especially soccer. We saw in our boyhood football tournaments even in rural areas witnessed by thousands of spectators. Rain and inclement weather could not stop them. Football clubs from Rajshahi, Sirajganj, Pabna and other districts took part.
When I was a school student, inter-school football, hockey and volleyball tournaments were regular. When I read in Rajshahi University, teachers and students had special passion for sports, literary and cultural competitions, which improved cordial relations among them.
We got a teacher named Dr. Shamsuzzoha. He was Proctor of the university and forerunner in developing sports on the campus.
After independence of Bangladesh, we got Sheikh Kamal who introduced technique of modern football in the country by appointing British coach for his club Abahani KC. Seeing it, other clubs also, specially WAPDA brought foreign coaches from Europe.
The country needs sports personalities like them to surge ahead if we want to secure medal in the Asian Games and the World Olympics.
