We Deserve Good Service From BTCL
The telephone connections at Matuail-Mridhabari have been dead for more than seven months. I, before four months from now, lodged a complaint at the regional telephone office at Jatrabari. The assistant manager informed me that an underground telephone machine at Mridhabari has been stolen, and a new one would be installed, but nothing said about when or within how many days it would be. I complained again over the telephone before three months. The manager told me she had written the higher authority to take the necessary steps to solve the problem, however, she could not say further on that.
The authority of the BTCL has been failed to install the machine in more than seventh months. This is great negligence and failure, and they cannot avoid this. And again, we suffer from disconnections all the year-long after. But it is needless to say that the telephone bills for every month are made and we have to pay them off.
We are the consumers of the BTCL and deserve the right to have good service. I urge the authority concerned to activate the telephones at the area at a time. That should not be slipped away more, and ensure good service as well.
