Covid 19 has completely shaken the whole world. Economic activities have come to a standstill. But amidst this pandemic, human rights violation like child labour, human trafficking are on the rise particularly in the countries like Bangladesh, India and Nepal. Because of this pandemic, many people lost their jobs. Basically human traffickers are taking the opportunity of these destitute people. Moreover, Rohingya women are also the targets of these traffickers.
In the target 8.7 of SDG, we have been urged to take immediate action against forced labour, modern slavery and human trafficking. Bangabandhu’s Sonar Bangla cannot be established by letting this problem grow up. So, the government should show zero tolerance while dealing with these abominable human traffickers
