Strong media is the
bulwark of democracy
Harassment and arrest of an investigative journalist of a leading daily recently has sparked widespread discussion at home and abroad. The focus of this discussion is on the freedom of the media. In fact, the newspaper or the modern media is the fourth pillar of society and if this fourth pillar (media) performs its duties properly, then the other three pillars of the state (law, executive and judiciary) are properly developed and democracy is flourished. Freedom of the media is a strong foundation and bulwark of democracy. The more this foundation can be strengthened, the more transparent the management of the country will be found and democracy will no longer be questioned. Its application and use can be noticed in the Western world. So it is important to prevent the lack of coordination in the media. On the other hand, democracy and the media are inextricably linked. Freedom of the media is also essential for democracy. If a state claims to be democratic, it must have hundred percent freedom of the media. The media that will criticize the government will have to ensure the freedom of the media again and the views of the people come up in the media. Therefore, if the freedom of the media can be ensured, it will be possible to establish good democracy. The media serves as a greater gateway to information for the people. Criticism of the government can ensure the transparency of individuals or organizations, in which the role of the media is paramount. So, democracy can only be strengthened if we can ensure freedom of expression, freedom of speech and freedom of the media. It is the responsibility and duty of the government to protect the strong media as a bulwark of democracy.

Netanyahu, The Jewish Hitler
When I think about the conflict between Palestnians and Israel, the comment of a renowned American Professor of MIT, Noam Chomsky, Jewish by birth (but not Zionist), comes in my mind. He said, “Israel uses sophisticated attack jets and naval vessels to bomb densely-crowded refugee camps, schools, apartment blocks, mosques and slums to attack a population that has no air force, no air defence, no navy, no heavy weapons, no artillery units, no mechanised armour, no command in control, and no army and calls it a war. It is not war, it is murder. Yes, it is not a conflict but genocide.
In the name of “defense”, Israel wants to erase Palestinians for good. Mr. Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, is a Jewish Hitler. “Vaccine of Humanity” is needed for him and his supporters to save the lives of Palestinians.
