Save Chaktai canal
Chaktai canal is considered to be a gateway to internal and external business of Chittagong as it is connected with Khatunganj, one of the largest commodity market and business place in Bangladesh. However, during monsoon the canal gets flooded and brings woes to the local people. Chittagong City Corporation claims to have spent crores of taka in dredging the canal. But we don’t see any result. We want to see a fruitful dredging programme from the authorities.
