Components of the Constitution
The students of Political Science study the Constitutions of a number of countries, including that of the USA. Anyone who reads the US Constitution is charmed by its three famous characteristics–Doctrine of Implied Power, Checks and Balance System and the Supremacy of the Judiciary.
President Abraham Lincoln, who save his country from disintegration, said, democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people. He said it in his famous Gettysburg speech. But the 2016 Presidential election shattered that values
Democracy may be the government of the majority in other countries, but it is not in the USA. That is why Democratic candidate Rodham Hillary lost the Presidential polls even though she secured more votes, about two millions, than the President-elect Donald Trump. It just exposed the hollowness of the democracy and the US Constitution.
However, as a retired US Chief Justice once remarked, ‘The Supreme Court is the Constitution,’ we think if there are strong evidences of vote rigging as well as of vote counting hacking, Hillary or any US citizen, who feels aggrieved by the shocked result, may go to the Supreme Court for justice.
