Sign of Diplomatic arrogance :
Last week, the government of Pakistan had demanded an amount of Tk 7 billion from Bangladesh, saying it is an unpaid amount. I am not at all surprise at the ludicrous claim of that country because the central government of Pakistan always treated Bangladesh as a colony until separated finally in 1971 in the stream of blood.
History gives evidence that Bangladesh (formerly East Pakistan) never received its equity in the national income and distribution. Whenever we demanded our shares, they labeled us as communists and Indian agents. According to the Quran and the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (SM), we were on the right track in 1971; contrarily, the central government and its collaborators were absolutely wrong.
The fact is that the bourgeoisie controlled politics of the united Pakistan were dirty, nasty, arrogant, discourteous and uncivil. The political leaders of former West Pakistan did not take lessons from the Quran, the sayings of the Prophet and history. Worse days are ahead of the broken Pakistan.
