Self-restrain needed
Allah teaches the Muslims vide Al-Quran, Surah Al-AnAm, Verse No. 108 not to abuse the gods and goddess of the polytheists lest they abuse their (Muslims) Lord, the Creator of the heavens and earth. The text of the verse is: And do not insult those (gods) they (disbelievers) invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do. But it does not mean that others shall abuse Allah, angels, heavenly Scriptures, Judgment Day and prophets without any explanation. If anyone does that, it implies upon the State to take drastic action against the guilty, because State’s silence may create unrest in the society. The related Verse is Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse No. 190. The text is: Fight in the way of Allah against those who fight against you but transgress not. Indeed. Allah loves not the transgressors.
Wherever there is sign of communal unrest, every religious community should restrain thyself first.
