Brazil should improve shooting skill
It is true that Brazil at length got the taste of gold in Olympic soccer, but I doubt their senior team’s capability of sailing into the World Cup Football finals to be held in Russia two years later. I watched the final match between the hosts and European giants Germany at the Marakana Stadium and came to the undernoted conclusions, which many soccer experts may not agree with.
1.The Brazilian footballers are slow and often give wrong passes, 2. they are shy to shoot into the opponents’ goal post, 3. they are fragile in headwork, 4. the Brazilians are short of Europeans in height, and 5. they do not become serious even when they trail the opponents.
If the new coach of the Brazil World Cup Squad do not pay attention to improve the aforesaid shortcomings, the five times world champions may miss the next world cup for the first time in their history, which will take away much attractions of the competition. At present Brazil are sixth in the 10-nation South American qualification after six matches.
About Germany, there is hardly any one who believes that the defending world champions will be out of the tournament because of their fighting spirit.
