Turkey still in crisis
It is true that the government of President Erdogan survived a coup attempt and purged more than forty thousand Armed Forces personnel including generals, Police officials, Judges and the Education Department officials, but the crisis still persists.
Many a time, massive dismissal from jobs create serious discontent in the society, their relatives and sympathizers may regroup, seek foreign help and spread anarchy every where. The ISIL, which had been the target of Turkey’s repeated strikes in last one year, may contact with the punished soldiers and police personnel in order to overthrow the country’s incumbent administration.
On the other hand, the US government is also unhappy with Ankara as President Erdogan has repeatedly demanded return of a religious leader from the USA that sheltered him.
We think that the Turkish President should be practical, and not hasty. He must not make every one his enemy and take lessons from the history.
