Japan emerging as Badminton power

There had been six world badminton super series tournaments played so far this year. These were All England Badminton, India Open, Malaysia Open, Indonesia Open, Australia Open and Singapore Super Series.
Every competition offers five gold medals. The events are Men’s singles, Women’s singles, Men’s double, Women’s double and Mixed double.
According to the available results, China won seven gold medals, Indonesia six, Japan five, Thailand and South Korea three each, Malaysia two, while Russia, Taiwan, India and Denmark one each.
Once mighty China’s supremacy is at stake, as they won seven gold medals only out of 30, while the Chinese women were super flop. The emerging power is Japan while Indonesia are trying to regain their lost glory. So far the Individual performance is concerned, Malaysia’s Lee Chong Wei secured highest two gold medals in Men’s singles while Thailand’s Ratchanak Intanon captured three gold medals.
India’s lone success came in the Australia Open Women’s singles through Saina Nehwal who beat China’s Sun Yu in the final.
The remaining competitions are Japan Super series, Korea Open, Denmark Open, China Open, Hong Kong Open, French Super series and Super Series Masters finas.
The prize money in the 13 tournaments are $73,50,000. But we do not know when the Bangladeshi shutlers will be able to triumph?
